Honest band reporting
We tell you the band you are at today, not the band you hope for. Nobody is pushed to register for an official test before their mocks are stable.
About us
We started in one Kilimani classroom preparing nurses for UK registration. Today three Nairobi campuses run classes, mock exams and registration support every week of the year.

Our approach
Plenty of centres hand out past papers and call it preparation. That works for a candidate who is already at band 7. For everyone else, the score is held down by a specific habit — a tense used wrongly, a reading strategy that wastes minutes, a speaking answer that stops after one sentence.
So we start every student with a full diagnostic, name the habit, and build the course around fixing it. Then we drill exam technique on top, until both the English and the strategy hold up under a countdown clock.
We are an independent preparation centre. We are not the official test provider — we prepare you thoroughly and walk you through registering with them.
What we stand for
We tell you the band you are at today, not the band you hope for. Nobody is pushed to register for an official test before their mocks are stable.
Every tutor teaches from the official Writing and Speaking band descriptors, so feedback points to exactly what raises your score.
Early-morning, evening, weekend and online classes exist because most of our students hold down a job or a family while preparing.
You speak, write and time yourself in every session. Watching a tutor talk has never raised anyone's band.
The team
Our tutors rotate across all three campuses, so wherever you enrol you get the specialist for that skill.
Head of Teaching · Writing & Reading
Fifteen years teaching academic English in Nairobi. Trains our markers on the official Writing criteria and runs the essay clinic.
Speaking & Listening Lead
Former examiner-trained interviewer. Runs recorded speaking simulations and the pronunciation lab at Westlands.
Student Advising & Registration
Guides candidates through test choice, official registration, ID requirements and sending Test Report Forms to institutions.
Computer-Delivered Testing
Runs the Kilimani lab and the CD-IELTS simulation programme, plus one-to-one coaching for band 7.5 and above.
Students
"I had failed to get 7.0 in writing twice on my own. Six weeks in the Intensive class with marked essays every week and I finally got 7.5."
"The mock exams in the computer lab were the difference. By test day the screen and the timer felt completely normal."
"I work full time in Westlands, so the 6:30am class was the only way. The tutors were never late and never rushed us."
Walk into Kilimani, Westlands or the CBD, or call us and we will place you in the right class this week.
